Recitation (Spread of islam)

Islam is a religion founded on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad as revealed in the Quran. Followers of Islam, called Muslims, believe in one God (Allah) and follow the Five Pillars of Islam: Shahada (declaration of faith), Salah (prayer), Zakat (charity), Sawm (fasting during Ramadan), and Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca). Islam has diverse traditions, with Sunni and Shia being the two major branches. It has a rich history and has influenced cultures, art, science, and philosophy throughout the centuries.
