Bridging the Digital Divide Uganda

The MTN Foundation led Bridging the Digital Divide (BDD) program is a digital-skilling initiative equipping Ugandan teachers with practical 21st-century skills in AI, robotics, coding, communication and more.
The programme develops the 4Cs: critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration, alongside practical technology and problem-solving skills.
Through hands-on training and mentorship, teachers are empowered to bring these skills and innovative approaches into their classrooms and schools.
By investing in teachers, BDD creates a ripple effect that gives more learners opportunities to become confident, creative and future-ready problem solvers.
