The Bottomland Drift

The Bottomland Drift is a finite multimedia art project that combines original abstract paintings with original ambient bass recordings.

Each piece in the collection pairs one original painting with one sustained bass recording, creating a quiet space to explore color, texture, resonance, and atmosphere without distraction.

The project will gradually document every chromatic note across three octaves. Each recording explores historical and modern reference tunings, including approximately A = 415 Hz, A = 435 Hz, A = 440 Hz, and A = 452 Hz. These reference pitches serve as artistic guideposts rather than strict technical targets.
