Bowater Band

Hi! Welcome to our Official Youtube channel for Bowater Band's music and video's.

We are Scott Bowater (Song writer, lead singer, lead guitarist), Sarita Petric (Bass, backing vocals, keys, social media!) and Cameron Malietoa (drums, backing vocals, master networker!). We've been together as a band since 2021.

Our sound blends poly rhythmic funk with back beats, ghost notes and powerful vocals with rich harmonies. It’s not striving to be totally mainstream (think Talking Heads, Roxy music, B52’s –).

These are songs for the heart. Written by Scott, they are honest and inspired by Scott's crazy life journey so far. His music elevates the ‘everyday’ musings and messages from an often overlooked demographic - the father, husband, partner. They centre around love, connection, openness, and understanding.

We hope that Bowater Bands music resonates with you. If you like us, don’t forget to subscribe and enable all notifications so you never miss a video!
