Brandmeister-Guitars

Brandmeister Guitars is based north of Hamburg, in southern Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. My guitars focus on ergonomics and low weight, with playing comfort at the heart of their design.

I build my guitars using CNC technology, combining modern design with traditional, hand-applied oil, wax and shellac finishes. Every instrument also receives a PLEK service.

I’m Jan, the person behind Brandmeister Guitars. I bring many years of experience as a carpenter and am a firefighter in Hamburg. My passion for building instruments has been with me for years. Through Brandmeister Guitars, I bring my own ideas to life.
