Britten-Shostakovich Festival Orchestra

The BSFO is the world's only bi-national orchestra bringing together the best students and graduates of the leading music colleges and conservatoires across the United Kingdom and Russia.  Inaugurated in 2019, the orchestra meets each year in late summer to perform concerts in major concert halls in both countries.  Our patrons are HRH Prince Michael of Kent, Mme Irina Shostakovich and the conductor Yuri Temirkanov, and we are generously supported by Rosneft and BP.
