Hi, I'm Brooke. This is my life and adventures as a 40-something, 9-5 professional on one crazy quest after another.

With 20+ years of building companies, chasing curiosity, and stamping passports in 60+ countries, I'm just getting warmed up. 

The New Dorothy is where I'm documenting all of it. Starting with the slightly unhinged decision to buy a 126-year-old abandoned house in my rural Kansas hometown and bring it back to life, one weekend at a time.

It's a YouTube channel, a newsletter, and a running record of what happens when you stop waiting for an interesting life to find you and go create one instead.
