The Cadieux Cafe

Videos from and about Detroit’s own Cadieux Cafe, North America’s home to the Belgian game of feather bowling. Videos feature the customers,  league members, staff, and musicians who make this 95-year old bar/restaurant special. 

As the bumper sticker on the wall says, “It’s Beautiful To Be Belgian.” Since its days as a Prohibition-era speakeasy, the Cadieux Cafe has been a social hub Detroit, featuring Belgian feather bowling.

The owners have been careful to maintain the place’s old-world charm, but making it more accessible to the masses, bringing in musical acts and staying open late. It’s still beautiful to be Belgian at the Cadieux Cafe, and you are more than welcome to pretend if you aren’t!

The Cadieux Cafe is available to host events morning, afternoon, and evening. With the addition of a 5,000 square foot outdoor biergarten (Mussel Beach), stage with projection screen, and outdoor bar (The Garage Bar), the Cadieux Cafe is the perfect location to host a variety of events!
