CARCINOGEN Canadian Death Metal

Carcinogen is an original Death Metal band from Ontario. Active from 1993 until 2000. The group released three demos in that time on cassette tape that gained some attention in the Death Metal scene. (Dormant Rottage, Perseverance and Demoralized) Some of the songs were later released on a few different compilation CD's.

Today in 2026, twenty five plus years later, the three original founding members, Tim Reid, Dave Clark, and Steve Chiasson have reunited to create new material. A fellow bassist and friend of many years, Ray Solomon will be laying down bass guitar for the NEW upcoming three song EP entitled- 'A Taste of Disaster'. With no doubt, the release will prove to be some of their most brutal and creative material to date. Watch for their summer 2026 EP release which will be available on most streaming platforms.
