Central American Voices

Central American Voices is a bilingual podcast dedicated to connecting, uniting, and representing the Central American community worldwide. Founded on March 1, 2020, by Alejandra Quiroz and Sussan Garcia, it is now hosted by Alejandra, a Honduran immigrant in Los Angeles, with Brenda Hernández, a Honduran-American, joining as producer in 2024.

Our mission is to create a safe space for dialogue and amplify voices often overlooked in mainstream media. Today, we’re transitioning into live episodes, in-person recordings, and community-centered events to deepen our connection and uplift stories that matter.

Rooted in love for our people, we celebrate Central America’s rich history, cultures, and traditions while acknowledging its struggles. We remain committed to uplifting one another and building an inclusive, united future.
