ConversationsAboutAutism

Conversations About Autism is an autism podcast hosted by Sam Loprete.

I talk with autistic adults, researchers, therapists, educators, advocates, family members, and other people with something specific to say about autism.

Episodes cover late diagnosis, masking, sensory overload, communication, friendship, work, relationships, independence, therapy, mental health, neurodiversity, and the weird details that make one person’s experience different from another’s.

One guest described hallucinating extra arms so he could stim in public. Another explained how taking a joke literally contributed to losing a friendship and a business relationship.

That’s the kind of conversation I’m looking for.
