Wandering Slowly

Welcome to **Wandering Slowly** — exploring Ontario’s small towns, waterfronts and historic places, gently. No rush. 🇨🇦

I love discovering what makes a place interesting — the old buildings, local landmarks, lakes and rivers, cemeteries and memorials, and the stories of the people who came before us.

Sometimes I set out knowing exactly what I want to see. Other times I simply start walking and discover things along the way — an old railway station, a forgotten piece of history, an unexpected view, or a story I never knew was there.

These aren't whirlwind tours or lists of the “top 10 things to do.” They're an invitation to slow down, look around, and spend a little time in places we might otherwise drive straight through.

Because **every discovery leads to a story.**

So come wander slowly with me.
