Dr. James Griffin

This channel examines Muslim leadership, religious accountability, and spiritual abuse within Islamic spaces. Led by Dr. James Griffin (Dr. Griff)—an accomplished educator and organizational leader—this platform explores how high-control groups, cult-like dynamics, and abuses of religious authority emerge, including within Sufi, tasawwuf, and tariqa contexts.

Through research-based analysis, interviews, and education, the channel promotes critical thinking in Islam, ethical leadership, and recovery from religious trauma. The goal is not to attack Islam, but to uphold its values of justice, mercy, and accountability by exposing harmful practices that exploit faith for power and control.

Topics include:

Spiritual and religious abuse

High-control groups and cult dynamics
