I Dreamed A Dream…Then Checked My Email

‘I Dreamed a Dream…Then Checked My Email’ is a podcast exploring the intersection of mental health and the performing arts through honest conversations, personal stories, and professional perspectives.
Hosts Adam Hill (psychotherapist/LCSW) and Emily Goldberg (performer & mental health enthusiast) chat with creative guests about the highs, lows, unexpected turns, and deeply personal experiences that shape a life in the industry.
At its heart, this show is about helping people feel less alone on their artistic journeys. Whether you're a seasoned professional, an aspiring artist, a therapist, a mental health fan, or someone just figuring out what comes next, there's a seat on the couch for you.
This podcast contains occasional strong language and candid conversations. While one of our co-hosts is a licensed psychotherapist, this is not a substitute for professional mental health care.
