🎙️Host of Love Plants

I'm a science communicator translating gut & microbiome research into tools for everyday health. I earned my PhD in Molecular & Cellular Oncology at GWU, where my research on colorectal cancer sparked a focus on sharing evidence-based information on gut health & the microbiome. I'm co-author of Stop Bloating & Heal Your Gut & host of the series Love Plants. As I deal with my own digestive troubles, I’m passionate about communicating gut-related science in a clear, concise manner. Today I serve as Director of Science Communication at @ThoseNerdyGirls where I help advance public access to trustworthy health information.

Throughout each season of Love Plants, guests (scientists, dietitians, MDs, restaurateurs, farmers & more) join me for a chat about their passion for gut health & the microbiome, plant-based foods & overall health & wellbeing.
