Dr Vijaykumar Gawali

Practical, dated guidance for the people who run clinical research at Indian hospital sites.

I am Dr Vijaykumar Gawali — Head of Clinical Research and Academics, Ethics Committee Chairperson, Clinical Research Educator, and NABH Assessor for Ethics Committee and Clinical Trial Accreditation. I came into research from the coordinator's chair two decades ago and have run research departments at three Mumbai hospitals since.

For clinical research coordinators, hospital investigators, Ethics Committee members, monitors, and students on their way in: informed consent, site operations, deviations and safety reporting, ethics review, ICH GCP E6(R3), Indian regulation, and interview preparation.
