Electro Swiggety

Electro Swiggety is the musical collaboration of Music Producer and DJ Khesrow Rasta and Singer/Songwriter/Trumpeter Tara Neilsen.
Electro Swiggety is a dynamic show combining turntablism with live trumpet and vocals. Khesrow creates seamless transitions between their original recordings and arrangements, developing unique, exciting mixes of songs. Tara brings back the glamour and flamboyancy of the golden 1920's, adding her hot ‘n’ sassy trumpet solos and her distinctive sweet and delicate vocal style. Together Electro Swiggety bring an infusion of a style once considered immoral and threatening with crisp electric dance music.
Khesrow; a well respected DJ and Producer, has a background steeped very much in Funk, RnB and Hip Hop. His focus is on the rhythm and beat and reading the crowd. Tara was raised on early Jazz and 1950’s & 60’s pop. Her focus is on expressing beautiful melodies, meaningful lyrics and catchy trumpet riffs.
