ELITE VOICE | Academic Vocal eLearning Platform

There is an instrument every human being has from birth: two folds of muscle and mucous membrane in the throat, about as long as a thumbnail, able to do far more than most people ever ask of them. Few ever learn to play it.

This channel is about that instrument and how one learns to play it. It explains how a tone is formed, why the voice breaks as it rises, and what happens in the breath, the heartbeat and the blood when a person sings. The answers come from research: from vocal physiology, acoustics, anthropology and one hundred and forty years of learning psychology. Every video rests on studies you can look up, with place, year and source.

This channel is made for people who want to learn to sing, for those who have tried before and want to know why it did not work, and for teachers who want to measure their methods against what research knows.
