Formed in February 2025, the band officially began its activities with a special event on September 25 of the same year. The band's name, "Emily," is inspired by the iconic heroines who symbolize ideals and aspirations. As a rock band, they create cinematic, story-driven music rooted in an '80s sound, expressing the difficulty and importance of self-acceptance through what they call "love songs for oneself."
