The Healing Journey: The Journey to Becoming

Self-awareness and self-care are keys to healing. There is power in knowing who you are, what inspires you, and what discourages you, because you can then use that knowledge to empower the growth of your best self, as defined by you. My latest book, a memoir called Out of the Cocoon: The Journey to Becoming, documents my healing journey from trauma. I firmly believe and have experienced that that which threatens to destroy or diminish you can become your stepping stone to greatness, if handled properly. Poetry and prose are my tools for healing.
