Gifford for Connecticut

Rooted in the 8th District

I’m a lifelong resident of Connecticut’s 8th District, and a firm believer that our state’s best days are still ahead of us. I trained as an automotive technician at Norwich Technical High School, earned my ASE certifications, and went to work in the industry.

Today I own and operate my own small business — so I know firsthand what it means to make payroll, price a job, and watch Hartford add costs to both. I’ve seen friends and family leave Connecticut because there was nothing here for them, and I’m not willing to accept that.

Hartford has a habit: pass the law, take the credit, and send you the bill. The cost shows up on your property taxes, your electric bill, and your rent — but nobody’s name is attached to it. I’m running to attach names to bills, starting with mine.
