The Goddess Project | Ancient Goddesses & Myth

Welcome to The Goddess Project, where ancient goddesses, Greek mythology, archaeology, and sacred sites come to life.

Hosted by Dr. Carla Ionescu, ancient historian, Artemis scholar, author, and founder of the Artemis Research Centre, this channel explores goddesses through mythology, history, archaeology, ancient religion, and fieldwork.

From Artemis, Athena, Persephone, Aphrodite, and Hekate to Inanna, Isis, the Virgin Mary, and beyond, we look past familiar myths to ask what the ancient evidence actually tells us.

Expect deep dives into Greek mythology and ancient religion, visits to temples and archaeological sites, behind-the-scenes fieldwork, conversations with scholars, podcast episodes, ancient mysteries, and adventures across the Mediterranean.

Subscribe and join me as we explore the stories, places, and evidence the ancient world left behind.
