Gold Diggin Dan

I caught the gold fever—and now I’m documenting the journey.

I’m Gold Diggin Dan, a Northern California prospector sharing real gold mining adventures, gear testing, and the ups and downs of chasing gold in the wild. From sluice box setups to cleanups, I show the process honestly—what works, what doesn’t, and what I’m learning along the way.

This channel also explores gold mining tips, tools, and history through videos and a podcast designed to help beginners get started and experienced miners sharpen their skills.
