the ill equipped gentleman

The last guy who should be handing out advice — writing it all down anyway.

The Ill Equipped Gentleman is honest, funny stories about the big stuff nobody preps you for: IVF, a health scare, quitting drinking, getting older. A book, a podcast, and a lot of doing it wrong out loud — with my wife Lauren usually getting the better line.

No experts. No how-tos. Proudly unqualified.
