IM HIGH ON CRACK AND I HAVE A GUN | Ryan Homanics

IM HIGH ON CRACK AND I HAVE A GUN is a documentary, book, and soundtrack project built from 6 years of footage, writing, addiction, collapse, survival, grief, and recovery captured in real time.

Not a polished recovery story.
Not cleaned up after the fact.
This is addiction, collapse, survival, grief, relapse, family, money, trauma, and the system — shown from the inside while it was still happening.
This book doesn't explain addiction. It shows you what it feels like.

The project follows a person’s spiral while asking a bigger question:

What if the same brain that drives chemical addiction is also the same brain running the world?

Long-form videos, documentary chapters, raw footage, writings, music, interviews, and visual experiments from the archive.
