Inner Hero Martial Arts & Fitness

Inner Hero Martial Arts & Fitness is a karate, self-defence, and cardio kickboxing school in Ottawa, Canada, helping kids, teens, and adults build confidence, discipline, resilience, fitness, and real-world self-defence skills.

On this channel we share karate and self-defence techniques, kata and their applications (bunkai), cardio kickboxing workouts, training tips, and lessons that build character and confidence, on and off the mat. Whether you're a parent looking for a program for your child, an adult wanting practical self-defence, or a martial artist deepening your craft, there's something here for you.

Led by Kyoshi Richard Ouellette, an 8th-degree black belt and master instructor with nearly 50 years of martial arts experience.

We train at the Canterbury Community Centre in Ottawa. New students are always welcome, everyone started as a beginner once.
