Institute of Sports Jamaica Limited

The Institute of Sports (INSPORTS) is the primary agent of the Ministry of Sports mandated to Unearth and Develop talent at the grassroot level. It was formed in 1978 following the merger of the Sports Development Division and the National Sports Limited -- now known today as the Independent Park Limited. INSPORTS was established to create a national development platform for Sports as a contributor to the social, psychological and economic well being if Jamaicans.
