Shree Saunsthan Gaudapadacharya Kavale Math, one of India's oldest institutions, traces its origins back to approximately 2600 years ago. Founded by Shreemad Gaudapadacharya, the Param Guru of Adi Shankaracharya, the Math has a rich unbroken lineage of 77 pontiffs, with the current head being Shreemad Shivananda Saraswati Swami Maharaj.
