Kyaninga Child Development Centre

Kyaninga Child Development Centre provides physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy services to children living with disabilities in the Kabarole District of Western Uganda. Founded in 2014 by entrepreneur and creator of Kyaninga Lodge, Steve Williams and his wife Asha, and physiotherapist Fiona Beckerlegge, Kyaninga child development centre (KCDC) was established to provide much needed high quality, specialised assessment, treatment, education and support to children with disabilities, and their families and carers, to enable them to live more independent lives.

There are very limited resources and services available for children with disabilities in the region and families must travel long distances to access specialist medical care. We provide local therapy services in homes, communities, health centres, schools and our clinic so that more families are able to access the rehabilitation services that they need.
