Long Beach Community Design Center

LBCDC is a nonprofit that provides pro-bono urban planning and design services in partnership with other nonprofit and community organizations that serve underserved and under resourced communities in greater Long Beach.  Our mission is to engage the community on their terms, and to give them the ability to design and develop their communities in their own image and create equitable and socially just physical environments.  
LBCDC also provides youth engagement programs (The Young Community Planners of LB) to provide exposure to the field of urban planning and physical environment and promote education and career pathway opportunities in urban planning and design professions.
