Empowering Women. Strengthening Communities. Building Legacies.

Founded in 1935, by Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, NCNW is a historic coalition dedicated to leading, advocating for, and empowering women of African descent, their families, and communities.

We proudly honor the legacy of President Emerita Dr. Dorothy Irene Height and the leadership of National Chair Dr. A. Lois Keith and President & CEO Rev. Shavon Arline-Bradley.

Our Long Island Cross County Section was organized 1994, and serves Nassau and Suffolk Counties, New York, through sisterhood, service, leadership, education, and advocacy.
