Life As Strange! Stories for Brave Little Lives

Welcome to Life As Strange — the official channel for the children’s book series by Dr. Abbey-Robin Durkin.

This is the home of Strange: a five-year-old, brown, white, and super fluffy guinea pig who lives on a sailboat and has a lot of feelings about it. Strange and her crew — sister Charm, and a whole gang of animal friends — sail through twenty stories about the real stuff of childhood: moving, friendships, bullies, big feelings, changing bodies, grief, kindness, and everything in between.

On this channel you’ll find:
- Read-alouds of the Life As Strange books
- Behind-the-scenes with the author, Dr. Durkin
- Conversation starters for parents and caregivers
- Meet the characters — and the real guinea pigs they’re based on
- Tips for talking to kids about the big stuff

Life is strange. Strange is braver than she looks. And so is your child.
