Grace Laborers Ministry

"Welcome to Light For Wanawake, a ministry under Grace Laborers Ministry Uganda dedicated to empowering vulnerable women and girls in our communities. Our mission is to provide a lasting solution to period poverty, promote menstrual hygiene management, and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We achieve this through:

- Providing reusable pads and training women and girls in their use
- Breaking the silence and stigma surrounding menstruation
- Raising awareness and challenging negative social norms
- Preaching the true gospel of Jesus Christ
- Providing Maama kits to vulnerable mothers for safe and healthy deliveries
- Creating income sustainability projects to help women overcome poverty

In all we do, we give glory to God! Join us in our journey to transform lives and communities, one woman and girl at a time.”
