LOWS

LOWS is the electronic/New Wave-inspired project of Kory Westerhold, and released his debut single, “So How Do U Feel?” in April 2020. 

The band’s reverence for the analogue recording techniques and textures of the early 80s is clear, as songs are written and recorded on rare vintage and modular synthesizers and drum machines. Because of this, much of LOVVS music feels both nostalgic and new all at once. 

From sweeping synths and dancefloor beats, to catchy choruses with biting lyrics—and guest appearances from other Bay-Area artists—LOVVS creates music that’s as self aware as it is playful, and not forgetting to keep things a little “weird” for good measure.
