Lucas Winter | Data Science, from Brazil

I'm Lucas Winter, a mathematician and software engineer by training, currently working in Model Risk in the Brazilian banking sector. This channel is where I break down data science, machine learning, and model risk/MLOps concepts the way I wish someone had explained them to me: without unnecessary jargon, and grounded in real problems from credit risk, statistics, and applied ML.

New videos roughly every week, covering topics like model validation, risk modeling, MLOps practices, and the occasional walkthrough of a project I'm building.

I'm also using this channel to do something a lot of LATAM data professionals don't get much space to do: show that strong technical work in this field isn't limited to a handful of countries. If you're a recruiter, hiring manager, or just curious what data science looks like from this side of the world: welcome.
