Claude Edwin Theriault

Claude Edwin Theriault is a French-Acadian artist and songwriter from Nova Scotia, Canada, with 40+ years of boundary-defying work. His Cajun Dead et le Talkin' Stick project fuses Appalachian and Acadian roots, desert blues, gypsy-jazz, and world folk into multilingual songs — sung in Acadian French, English, Italian, and Algerian Arabic — on themes of displacement, memory, and the search for refuge.

For listeners drawn to Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Ali Farka Touré, and the Wailin' Jennys — where ancient folk tradition meets contemporary storytelling.

The channel also features original visual art: oil paintings, AI motion graphics, 3D animated totems, and shamanic designs rooted in French Acadian and First Nations heritage, with select NFT artworks minted on Ethereum.
