Marathon for Spikey Prickle

Hi, I’m Ben.

I’m nine years old and I’ve decided to run a marathon.

But I’m not doing it all in one day.

I’m going to run 26.2 miles throughout October.

I’m doing it for a very special reason.

A little while ago I found an injured hedgehog in our garden.

We took her to Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital, but sadly she died from her injuries.

I called her Spikey Prickle.

I was really sad, so I decided I wanted to do something positive to help Brent Lodge.

So I’m running a marathon for Spikey Prickle!

I’ve got some special runs planned too.

I’ve got Brighton football matches, my birthday, we’re going to Holland and I’m going to run at Efteling!

And my final run will be on Halloween.

I’m going to vlog the whole challenge.

If you’d like to sponsor me, please go to JustGiving.com and search for Marathon for Spikey Prickle and you will find my donation page there.

Wish me luck!

26.2 miles…

Here we go!
