Martine's Restaurant

Wine, steak and stories from Quay Street, Galway.

Martine’s family has lived and worked on Quay Street since 1902. In 1986, Martine opened Ireland’s first wine bar outside Dublin, and it grew into the restaurant we are today.

On this channel we take you behind the scenes: wine pairings explained simply, steaks cooked over our Josper charcoal oven, our kitchen team at work, and the stories behind the art on our walls.

We cook 21-day dry aged Irish beef and fish from local suppliers like Kelly’s Oysters and Mary’s Fish Shop, served in a dining room that feels more like a gallery.
