Mathematics For Parents

In the past, mathematics was often taught as a set of rules and procedures to be memorized. Today, there is a greater focus on helping students understand the underlying concepts of mathematics. This helps children to be more successful in solving problems and to be more creative in their thinking.

But many parents were not prepared for the changes that were taking place in the way mathematics was being taught
That left us unsure in our own abilities to assist our children and implanted a fear factor – that we are not capable to explain simple mathematical concepts to our kids. Fear that we cannot assist them the way we would like.

In this channel we aim to change that. We aim to empower parents with the idea to translate what education require from our children and how with minimum effort we can assist our child and ensure their future success.
