MAXIMILIAN DURKIN (TIEL.)

Maximilian is an itinerant speaker, singer and songwriter from Manchester, UK.

Drawing on Americana and folk-influenced styles and sounds, 'Heaven's Getting Heavy With Rain' was Maximilian’s first solo-project. The 2018 EP was heavily driven by searching lyrics that explore the ‘more’ to be found in God if we only ask and believe. Along with the follow-up single Chasing Fallen Leaves, Maximilian's music is often featured on prayer apps and UCB radio.

In 2019 Maximilian began songwriting for his first full-length album. The record is designed to be prayed with in the secret place and corporately proclaimed, with songs written from and made for encounter with Jesus. Production on the entirely crowd-funded project has been completed and the album is due for release with Integrity Music in 2022. The first single, Holy Spirit will be available to stream from September 17th.
