The McLean County Museum of History traces it roots back to 1892, the year the McLean County Historical Society was founded. It is a nationally accredited award winning museum with 5 permanent exhibit galleries and 2 rotating galleries.  In addition to preserving tens of thousands of objects, images, and documents, the Museum shares the story of McLean County with thousands of students and seniors each year through hands-on programs and field trips.
