Zohran Miranda

Zohran Jude Miranda is a Mumbai-based music producer, guitarist, and vocalist blending 80s/90s nostalgia with modern pop, funk, and disco. Born in Muscat, Oman, he grew up on his father’s cassette collection of Dire Straits, Prince, Michael Jackson, and Chris Rea, which shaped his love for groove and melody. After leaving a management degree behind, he became an in-demand session guitarist, collaborating with Bollywood composers . In 2020, Zohran released his debut synth-pop Quadrilogy, a four-track ode to neon grooves and retro-futurism. His 2023 EP Time for Two pushed his pop-tronic sound further, co-produced with Jovian Soans and exploring themes of ascension and breaking free of comfort demons. Now, Zohran is preparing his debut album, a blend of disco-rock, funk, and synth-pop inspired by Prince, Michael McDonald, and Earth, Wind & Fire. Its lead single Love Don’t Matter—dark yet hopeful—embodies his signature mix of groove, emotion, and nostalgia.
