Momma Lou

Retired lawyer giving life advice.

Hi, I'm Momma Lou (yes, two m's — it's my quirk). I'm a retired lawyer, a mom of four, a grandma of three, and I've lived enough for several lifetimes. Widowed at 19. Single mom. I ran my own business for 20 years, started college at 26, graduated law school at 37 — nights, while working full-time and raising babies — passed the bar on my first try, and ran my own practice for 10 years without losing a single case. I walked away from burnout, but I never stopped loving the law or helping people. Now I share what I know — estate planning, family stuff, the hard conversations about death, aging parents, and kids who don't listen — the way I'd tell it to you over coffee, but I drink tea. I do it every day on TikTok as "Momma Lou Time," and now here too. ⚖️ I'm retired and I'm not your lawyer — this is information from my life and experience, not legal advice.
