James | Camera Gear & Tech Reviews

After 38 years behind the camera, I’ve learned that good gear doesn’t need hype; it speaks for itself.

As a 50+ creator, I’m more interested in helping you than impressing you. I buy all my own gear, and most of it is still on my shelves today. The name of this channel came from people on Instagram seeing those shelves and asking if I owned a camera store. I don’t.

I have ADHD and Autism (AuDHD), which means I often notice details that others overlook. Here you’ll find honest camera and tech reviews, practical comparisons, and clear conclusions to help you decide what’s worth your time and money. I use gear from Canon, Sony, Nikon, Fujifilm, Leica, DJI, Insta360, and more.

My goal is simple: reviews that feel like advice from a friend, not a salesperson. Just friends talking about gear.
