Of Human and Nature

On a quest to have adventures, not be a jerk, and maybe make the world a slightly better place — one project at a time.

Sometimes that means stealth camping in sad places and cleaning up the trash.
Sometimes it’s testing odd gear, building useful things, exploring, or working on small rewilding and conservation projects.

Right now most of my time goes into an ongoing experiment:
trying to have a bit more impact by building 500 birdhouses from recycled material for locally endangered species.
I tend to go unreasonably deep into things, try a lot of ideas, get feedback, fail occasionally (but we’ll get there in the end).
