OKIES EDEN

A country boy from the Northeast building a more self-reliant life in the Oklahoma heat.

Welcome to Okies Eden—where gardening, homesteading, prepping, food storage, DIY, survival and frugal living meet real-world experience.

I’m growing food, preserving the harvest, building on a budget, exploring solar and off-grid ideas, and testing practical ways to become more self-sufficient.

Can I grow it? Can it survive Oklahoma? Can I grow more with less? Can I preserve and store it? Can I build it cheaper? Can I prepare without spending a fortune? Will this crazy idea actually work?

You'll see the successes, failures, experiments and lessons along the way.

No perfect garden. No pretending everything works.

Just Real Gardening. Real Results.
