Phil 'n the Blanks Maine

Phil Allen sings and plays his guitar all around southern Maine as the front man of Phil ‘n the Blanks (solo, duo, and trio).  Studying music theatre and opera as a young man, his 5 years of vocal training comes through in tight intonation and dynamic control. He recorded his debut album, Time on My Hands, at Supersonic Studio in Central Square, in Cambridge, MA. 

His gratitude comes through in his honest and vulnerable stagecraft and soulful guitar solos.  Phil’s originals and joyfully rendered cover songs reflect lessons hard learned and the joy that comes from a life dedicated to his art.
