Poems & Coffee

Poems and Coffee is a creative platform designed to uplift and empower people of color through poetry, music, and artistic expression. Founded by Building Bridges Over Barriers, this initiative provides a welcoming space where voices that are often unheard can be freely expressed and celebrated.

Through intimate performances, thought-provoking storytelling, and a strong sense of community, Poems and Coffee fosters meaningful connections while embracing the power of words and culture. PBS Blue Ridge has recognized this movement for its impact. This movement is more than an event—it’s a space for healing, inspiration, and change.

Come sip, share, and experience the magic of poetry and music in a space where every voice matters.
