Proyecto Florecer

Proyecto Florecer empowers young women in Colombia to become confident, socially conscious leaders of their community. Our vision is to provide a sustainable model for building community and empower women with the tools, skills and confidence to develop into the leaders of today and tomorrow.

Proyecto Florecer’s (Proyecto Flourish) grass-roots programmes, led by local community volunteers, to offer Latin American women the opportunity to break cycles of poverty, under-employment, sex trafficking, gender discrimination, drug abuse, early pregnancy, under-education and abusive relationships.

Our goal is to challenge the status quo, enabling young women to reach their potential, build positive communities of support, and understand their own capacity to be agents of change.
