PWT Pythons • Oliver Rushton

Welcome to the PWT Pythons YouTube channel! My name is Oliver and I’m a private reptile keeper here in Victoria Australia.

I am fascinated by all of our wonderful native wildlife, but my true passion is with Carpet Pythons (Morelia spilota) …So join me as I get stuck into the behavioural science, habitat research, and husbandry of these incredible pythons.
My collection may be based in vic, but through locality population research, mapping and herping trips... I will bring you along in search of Carpet Pythons across some of Australia’s most stunning habitats and landscapes.

And then it’s back to base, where I’ll be using this field research to improve the QOL for my own captive bred pythons, creating enrichment strategies, providing better enclosure setups and supporting natural behaviours across my unique collection. By bringing you guys along for the ride, I hope I can inspire some of you to do the same, or maybe apply what I’ve learnt to your own collection.
